Saturdays June 13 through Nov. 21 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm - rain or shine - in the commuter parking lot on Orange Ave. at Lafayette, Suffern, NY.
Available at the market: Locally grown/produced organic vegetables, meats, eggs,
fruits, berries, baked goods, maple syrup, wine, cheese, honey, plants, prepared foods, flowers

Suffern Farmers Market is sponsoring a blood drive on June 9 at Good Samaritan Hospital from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Donate and receive a $3.00 coupon toward any item at the market.

About Me

- I am married with two children and one of my favorite hobbies is cooking. That's probably because another favorite passtime of mine is eating! I am an amateur chef who has been interested in cooking since I was a child and observed my mother and grandmother. They never used a recipe for their delicious Italian family dishes. My mother is an avid cookbook collector and passed along that passion as well. In 2007, I was a winner in the Locally Grown recipe contest in NY sponsored by the Journal News (www.lohud.com/locallygrown), MyPersonalFarmers.com, RNN TV and the Valley Restaurant. My winning recipe, Ratatouille Pizza, was developed as a way to get my family to eat lots of fresh, local vegetables. I am a food writer and editor for the Examiner newspapers in Pleasantville and Mt. Kisco. My dream is to be the next Food Network star and I hope to write my own cookbook one day.
